Security risk management is a structured and systematic way in organisations aimed at assessing and managing security risks and responding to and recovering from security incidents and emergencies. The system helps organisations protect their human and material resources and core values against security risks posed by error and malicious, criminal and hostile acts. During the training delegates will be made familiar with the main components of a security risk management system, including development of policy and standards, risk assessment, planning and design of protection measures, contingency readiness and quality control.
